The Definitions.

Food Pantry
Food pantries depend on the location but they can typically offer a market-style experience. Free of charge you can pick up your groceries and often pick what you do and don't want.

Community Fridge
A community fridge is a refrigerator set up in an accessible location that is stocked by the community for the community. In some cases, these fridges can allow you to 'take what you need, leave what you can'.

Community Kitchen
Community kitchens offer pre-made meals for pick-up or for you to sit down and eat - depending on the location.

Soup Kitchen
Soup Kitchens serve meals to those in need. Post-pandemic many locations offer meals to go.

CSA
CSA, or community-supported agriculture, cost a flat fee or a monthly fee and in return, you receive a farm fresh set of vegetables. The money you pay goes directly toward helping the local farmer support their crops.

Educational Resources
Some organizations provide food-focused educational resources to help you learn how to cook different recipes, how to go grocery shopping efficiently, how to garden and more. Some of the listed resources also provide assistance in other areas - housing, healthcare and more.
